홍역 예방 및 안전 수칙
질병관리청은 최근 경북 소재 대학교에서 해외 방문 외국인 유학생으로부터 홍역 집단발생(2024년 4월) 사례가 보고됨에 따라 다음과 같이 안내드립니다.
홍역 유행 국가로 출국 전 반드시 홍역 예방접종을 완료하시기 바랍니다.
또한, 귀국 후 3주 이내 발열이나 발진 등의 홍역 의심 증상이 나타날 경우 반드시 다음을 지켜주시기 바랍니다.
- 마스크 착용 및 철저한 개인위생 관리
- 대중교통 및 다중이용시설 이용 자제
- 가까운 의료기관에서 즉시 진료
홍역 유행 국가: 캄보디아, 필리핀, 중국, 몽골, 라오스, 말레이시아, 베트남 등
■ 협조 요청사항
1. 방학 중 해외여행 또는 본국 방문 후 발열·발진 등이 있을 경우 홍역을 의심하고, 마스크 착용 및 대중교통, 집단 시설 이용을 자제한 후 의료기관에서 진료 받기.
2. 홍역 의심환자로 분류될 경우, 발진일로부터 4일까지 등교 중지.
3. 홍역 유행 국가로 여행 또는 방문을 계획할 경우, 홍역 예방접종력 확인 및 예방접종 완료.

Notice: Measles Prevention and Safety Guidelines
The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) has issued a reminder following a recent measles outbreak (April 2024) among international students who had visited abroad at a university in Gyeongbuk.
Before traveling to countries* with ongoing measles outbreaks, please make sure you are fully vaccinated against measles.
If you develop symptoms such as fever or rash within three weeks after returning to Korea, you must:
- Wear a mask and practice good personal hygiene.
- Avoid using public transportation and group facilities.
- Visit the nearest medical clinic or hospital immediately for proper diagnosis and treatment.
* Countries with measles outbreaks: Cambodia, the Philippines, China, Mongolia, Laos, Malaysia, Vietnam, etc.
■ Guidelines
1. If you experience fever or rash after traveling abroad or visiting your home country during the vacation, suspect measles, wear a mask, avoid public transportation and group facilities, and visit a medical institution for diagnosis.
2. If you are classified as a suspected measles patient, you must stay home from university until 4 days after the rash appears.
3. If you plan to travel to or visit a country with a measles outbreak, please check your vaccination records and complete any required measles vaccinations in advance.
