Recruitment Notice for the 19th Friends of Korea
문화체육관광부는 대한민국에 대한 올바른 정보와 아름다운 문화를 전 세계에 알리기 위하여 ‘한국바로알림서비스’와 ‘대한민국 바로알림단’을 운영하고 있습니다.
해외 한국 관련 오류를 바로잡고 올바른 정보를 알리고자 하는 분들의 많은 지원을 바랍니다.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism operates the “Korea PR Service” and “Friends of Korea” programs to promote accurate information about Korea and its beautiful culture to the world. Applications are welcome from those who are passionate about correcting misinformation about Korea and sharing the truth globally.
□ 모집 개요
ㅇ (선발인원) 35명 내외
ㅇ (활동기간) 2025년 9월 ~ 12월 / 약 4개월
ㅇ (지원자격) 만 18세 이상 국내·외 거주 한국인 및 외국인*
* 외국인은 단원으로서 활동할 수 있는 수준의 한국어 구사가 가능한 자
ㅇ (선발기준)
- 문화·역사 등 한국 전반에 대한 소양을 보유하고 관심이 있는 자
- 언어 능력을 활용하여 해외 매체 내 한국 관련 정보 현황 조사 및 오류신고, 바로알림서비스 홍보(온·오프라인) 활동이 모두 가능한 자

□ Overview
ㅇ Number of Participants: Approximately 35
ㅇ Activity Period: September - December 2025 / about 4 months
ㅇ Eligibility: Koreans (domestic or overseas) and foreigners* aged 18 or older
* Foreign applicants must be proficient in Korean to actively participate in the program
ㅇ Selection Criteria:
- Individuals with knowledge of and interest in Korean culture, history, and related areas
- Ability to conduct research on overseas media regarding Korea, report misinformation, and promote the Korea PR Service (both online and offline) using language skills

ㅇ 모집공고: 7. 21.(월) 9시 - 8. 11.(월) 17시
ㅇ 합격자 발표*: 8. 22.(금)
* 합격자에 한하여 개별 이메일 통보 및 발대식 일정 안내 예정
ㅇ 발대식 및 교육: 9월
* 모든 합격자 필참(불참 시 합격 취소), 해외 거주자 실시간 온라인 참여

* results will be individually notified via email, including details about the orientation

* Mandatory for all participants (those unable to attend will be disqualified); real-time online participation available for overseas residents
□ 지원 방법
1. 한국바로알림서비스(www.factsaboutkorea.go.kr) 로그인(회원가입 필요)
2. ‘대한민국 바로알림단’ 메뉴 내 ‘지원 및 결과 확인’ → 모집공고
3. 2분 내외 자기소개 영상(파일 또는 링크) 첨부 및 지원서 작성 후 제출
※ ‘지원서 보기’ 버튼이 활성화되어야 지원이 완료된 상태
□ How to Apply
1. Log in to the Korea PR Service website (www.factsaboutkorea.go.kr) (membership required)
2. Go to the '대한민국 바로알림단(Friends of Korea)' menu → '지원 및 결과 확인(Application & Results)' → '모집공고(Recruitment Notice)'
3. Fill out the application form and attach a self-introduction video (about 2 minutes, file or link) before submission
※ Your application is complete only when the “Submit Application” button is activated.
□ 주요 활동 및 활동 형식
ㅇ (바로알림 활동) 해외 한국 관련 정보 현황 분석 및 오류 정보 신고
ㅇ (홍보 활동) 내·외국인 대상 한국바로알림서비스 홍보(온·오프라인)
ㅇ (활동 형식) 개인 및 팀(4~5인)별 활동 병행
※ 팀은 운영 담당자가 편성하여 공지 예정
□ Main Activities
ㅇ Fact-Checking: Monitor and report misinformation about Korea in overseas media
ㅇ Promotion: Promote the Korea PR Service to Koreans and foreigners (online and offline)
ㅇ Format: Activities will be conducted individually and in teams (4–5 members per team)
※ teams will be assigned by the organizers

ㅇ 활동 길라잡이, 기념품 등 활동 물품 지원
ㅇ 교육프로그램, 간담회 등 활동 관련 다양한 이벤트 참여 기회 부여
ㅇ 활동 내용 1365 자원봉사포털 실적으로 인정
ㅇ 활동 확인증 발급(발급 기준 추후 안내)
ㅇ 우수 활동자에 한하여 문화체육관광부 장관 표창 기회 부여 및 대한민국바로알림단장 명의 상장 등 수여
□ Benefits
ㅇ Activity kit (guidebook, souvenirs, etc.)
ㅇ Opportunities to participate in training programs, meetings, and various events
ㅇ Volunteer hours officially recognized through the 1365 Volunteer Portal
ㅇ Issuance of a certificate of participation (criteria to be announced later)
ㅇ Exceptional participants may receive a commendation from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and a certificate from the Head of the Friends of Korea program
□ 유의사항
ㅇ 한국바로알림서비스 누리집을 통해 제출된 지원서만 유효하며, 그 외의 방법으로 제출된 지원서는 인정하지 않음
ㅇ 임시저장 상태인 지원서는 마감 전까지 수정이 가능하며, 최종 제출된 지원서는 수정이 불가함
ㅇ 접수된 서류는 심사 목적으로만 활용되며 일체 반환하지 않음
ㅇ 지원서의 내용이 사실과 다를 경우 선발에서 제외되며 기재착오, 누락 등으로 인한 불이익은 지원자의 귀책 사유로 함
ㅇ 운영 상황에 따라 모집 및 운영 일정이 변동될 수 있음
□ Important Notes
ㅇ Only applications submitted through the Korea PR Service website will be accepted.
ㅇ Applications saved as drafts can be edited until the deadline, but once submitted, they cannot be modified.
ㅇ Submitted documents will be used solely for evaluation purposes and will not be returned.
ㅇ Any false information in the application will result in disqualification, and applicants are responsible for any disadvantages caused by errors or omissions.
ㅇ Recruitment and program schedules are subject to change based on operational needs.
